New Book: James Maguire Origin Story

Those of you who familiar with the James Maguire series will know that before he joined the NYPD he was a US Navy SEAL. I have had an idea sitting on the backburner for a few years and decided that I would pursue it and have enjoyed writing this new story.

This story centers around Maguire’s time in the SEAL teams and has him being sent to Mexico on a clandestine operation. I don’t want to give too many details away, so I’ll just attach an image and let your imagination run with it.

The book is about 80% complete and I hope to have it available shortly. I’ll update you on the progress as it gets closer to publication.

Alex Taylor - Book 4 Update

Well, happy spring everyone. The birds are chirping; the grass is turning green, weather is utterly bi-polar, and yours truly is camped out behind his desk, putting the finishing work on the latest Alex Taylor novel.

It feels like forever since I published a new book and, truth be told, it isn’t that far off. The last book I released was The Crazy Eight Cowboys novella in January 2021. I regret the delay, but 2021 was a year of challenges for us. What started out as a simple house flip grew into a monster and consumed almost the entire year for us. Thankfully, we could sell the home in December, so we have closed that chapter of our life.

Since then, I have been back at work writing and I can happily report that I have finished the first draft of the latest Alex Taylor novel (title TBD) and it is presently in editing. Barring any unforeseen events, I should be able to release it this April.

I know many of you are waiting on the next James Maguire novel, as well as the follow-up book in the Crystal Coven series. All I can say is, please be patient with me; they are coming.

NYPD Cold Case #15-003 'The Crazy 8 Cowboys' - Cover Reveal

Well, the release date is almost here and I thought I would share the cover for the latest Detective Angelo Antonucci NYPD Cold Case novella. The e-book will be released on the Amazon Kindle platform.

As previously mentioned, with the addition of this book in the Cold Case lineup, I will be creating a print version for of you who enjoy having a book in your hand. It will include all three of the current Cold Case stories.

The Crazy 8 Cowboys revolves around the disappearance of an confidential informant that went missing during a narcotics investigation focused on the Eight-Eight Precinct in Brooklyn North. When a decade old body is discovered, Antonucci is tasked with finding out who was responsible for the disappearance; a list which includes the informant’s ex-wife, members of the command, and the Internal Affairs Bureau, who were heading the investigation.
